I hold a PhD in musculoskeletal research and use evidence-based practice and current best practices for diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions.
As a Kettlebell Certified Level-2 Instructor, I incorporate kettlebells into the rehab environment. I am also a certified rowing instructor and certified running coach. Our practice has a specialized rowing ergometer that has a very water-like feel that is great for high performance athletes as well as for the standard patient and our focus on full body strengthening /cardio fitness with a low impact approach after injury or surgery. The treadmill has a biofeedback function to provide biometric information on ground contact time, flight time, and cadence in real time. This allows us to implement form corrections immediately and show impact in real-time for optimal learning.
Our practice uses cutting edge protocols for joint replacements, and post-operative surgical repairs of peripheral joints, return-to-sport training, prehab-to-podium, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and multi-disciplinary management of painful chronic spinal conditions.
